Welcome To We The People, Brunswick County NC
It is time to restore America’s founding principles of Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government and Free Markets.
FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY means not overspending, and not burdening our children and grandchildren with our bills.
CONSTITUTIONALLY LIMITED GOVERNMENT means power resides with the people and not with the government.
FREE MARKET ECONOMICS made America an economic superpower that for at least two centuries provided subsequent generations of Americans more opportunities and higher standards of living.
September 17th Tuesday, Constitution Day, at 6:30p.m. held at the St James Community Center, 4136 Southport-Supply Road (Rt. 211), St James. Unite our hearts and strengthen our hands in every undertaking that may be for the public good, and for our defense and security in this time of danger.
LINCOLN said “Study the Constitution”
“Let it be preached from the pulpit, proclaimed in legislatures, and enforced in courts of justice.”
Adapted from a prayer by Thomas Jefferson.
Bless our Country with honorable leaders and may they know the right foundation for defense of democracies. Save us from violence, discord, and confusion, from pride and arrogance, and from every evil way. Endow those we entrust the authority of government with the wisdom of our Founding Fathers. We ask that You keep our sons and daughters serving in the military around the world in Your care. Give US the courage and show US the way to defend our liberties here at Home.
A Patriot’s Pledge
I pledge to do all within my power to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.
I pledge to vote in every election, and only for candidates who have proven their loyalty to our country, traditional moral values, and the Constitution of the United States of America.
I pledge to expend my time, money, and effort to lawfully remove from elected or appointed office any person who has shown themselves unresponsive to the will of the people.
I pledge to work with all fellow citizens and patriots on every front in advancing the cause of liberty and freedom.
I pledge to teach my children and fellow man about the history and greatness the United States of America.
I pledge to speak out and speak up whenever I hear someone promoting a non-democratic or un-American ideal or goal.
I pledge to rely on myself, my family, my fellow man, and my God and I will never turn to the government to take care of me.
I pledge to love my country and to stand strong and unmoved when the winds of adversity blow.
